I just purchased an HP Envy 5055 to replace my HP 4500 whose scanner died. I am very happy with the HP Envy 5055. It is a nice, low profile desktop printer/scanner and the price was nicely affordable. It is the perfect printer/scanner for my small business which requires only low volume printing, but higher volume scan-to-computer needs (I’m a part time artist). I got this a month ago and it’s been working well. both in colour and bxw . the scanner is good. it;s fast. not loud. the look is chic and compact. it doesn’t take much space in the room. the only thing i wish is if it came in different colors than black. but overall there has been no problem installing it and getting it to work. was a very easy installation process both on phone and laptop. i subscribed to instant ink and they sent me ink right away. service is swift i must say. i printed some of my paintings on plain paper to see the quality and it was quite impressive. it’s not even a good photo paper and it came out so vivid and lively!See more

I purchased for my mother who doesn’t have wifi/internet connection. The secret is I set it up with her mobile phone at my house with a wifi connection (took less than 2 minutes). After the initial setup, I took the print and phone to her house and it works like a champ, because the printer connects with the mobile phone internet connection directly (and no hotspot needed).See more

I like the paper holder which keeps all the blank sheets inside a drawer instead of hanging out like my old HP4200. That paper always got messed up. The wireless works well and I can also print through the USB cable since my Internet at home is unreliable.See more

This was a replacement for an older HPEnvy. Nice printer. HP guality throughout. When using HPPrint you can use with any device anywhere. Do convenient. My only issue was finding the power button ,located on back of machine by power cord port. I did not find that too handy. Otherwise I’m happy with this purchase.See more
