Do not listen to the negetive! There is noting wrong with my pot when you pour etc. Makes great coffee. I checked the reviews about 3-4 weeks ago before I purchased and it was a 5 star with 100% recommend. Not sure what is going on! If all this is true or just a slander campaign so other makers can pull it down so they can make some revenue. The last coffee pot I bought was $300.00 and I got it on sale for $150.00 if I remember correctly. This unit makes coffee just as good and keeps it warmer longer thanks to the glass pot and not the carafe.See more

I just got this Black and Decker 12 cup programmable VORTEX coffee maker. It’s after 4pm, but I just had to set it up and brew a pot. First off, this machine is sleek, with a very small footprint. Secondly, I love being able to control the strength of my brew, as well as the length of time the hot plate keeps it warm. It also has a cleaning cycle…awesome! Delayed brew is also quite nice, as is the sneak a cup feature. Black and Decker has knocked it out of the park with this one! It is, by far, the best basic coffee maker I’ve had. I hope to use it for years to come. Oh, and I’m drinking my lovely cup of Joe now, and it tastes wonderful.See more

I like the smart look of this coffee maker. I like the fact that the coffee is really hot . I have had others but the coffee got cold so quick I think being real hot improves the tast love the program. This coffee makere fits right into a nice space I have really love that. the black stainless feature is smart looking. love the way it kept my coffee warm for that second cup. it has more of those little holes so there is more hot water and space covered. remember holidays and gift time is coming I think this would be a great gift for a coffee loverSee more

This Black & Decker coffeemaker is everything you need for your basic of basics. It’s programmable, sleek in design, and has a great time clock display. I find it to be easy to use, although it took me a minute to realize that you have to push the middle button to actually get it to start brewing. There isn’t a “brew” button, it’s just a button with the universal “power” symbol. It confused me at first, but then again it was the morning and I hadn’t had my coffee yet! I pushed the “strong” button and walked away from the coffeemaker, and when I came back 5 minutes later (and nothing had been brewing yet), I realized that the big button in the middle just needed a push. It’s an otherwise very simple machine to use, and it brewed a really nice pot of coffee for me. I do wish it had the ability to grind coffee, but I guess that means less cleanup too. I would definitely recommend this coffeemaker to anyone looking for a sleek coffeemaker that does all that you need without the complicated technology.See more

For 25 years now I always purchased black and decker products including coffee makers, toaster ovens etc. The last couple of coffee makers purchased I decided to try other brands and was not happy with them. I replaced each of those coffee makers after using it for a couple of months. From now on I will only buy black and decker. Very happy with their products. I especially like the fact that this coffee maker has option for a 1 to 4 cup brew as well as option for a stronger brew.See more

Excellent coffee maker. Basket handle a little sketchy but otherwise great coffee. I use Cafe Bustello at half the amount I used in my old maker. I brew on strongest level and coffee is better than old maker brewed. Saving me money on coffee and getting better tasting Joe!!!See more

Really a great coffee maker, a bit heavy because it’s a 12 cup, but keeps the coffee hot for a very long time as much as 6 hrs. It does cool off if you only leave a cup or two in it after about two hrs. DOES NOT drip!!! My last one dripped when you least expected it without warning, never could figure out why so had to pour over sink every time just in case it felt like it. Great flavor, only had a week but have gotten my “formula” down now and it’s very consistent! Large enough too to be able to get my hand in to clean, my wife wasn’t even able to reach into our old one so this is great but now I have no excuse to not clean it,,, oh well,, Worth It!!See more

The BLACK DECKER 12-Cup* Programmable Coffeemaker, Black/Stainless Steel, CM4000S is a very capable appliance which brews between 1 and 12 cups of coffee with little fuss. Its features include the ability to apply a slower, “strong” setting and a 1-4 cup setting. The carafe is well designed and does not “dribble” while pouring. The lid easily detaches and re-attaches for cleaning, and the removable brew basket makes for additional convenience. Setting the clock could not be easier or more intuitive. I do not use the programming feature, but it seems straightforward enough. I understood what this was when I bought it knowing it didn’t have a heating plate and to be honest, the coffee tastes better as a result. The thermal pot works just as well as my best thermal mug so doubt that it could be improved. The pot doesn’t drip after pouring.
