A unique handmade Amethyst necklace , set in crochet made of 14k gold filled, the bezel is created in unique shape that resembles a potion bag.

size : 2.2″x1.1″(5.5x3cm) the amethyst diameter is 1″ (2.5cm). The chain is 14k gold filled and 19″ long.

The Amethyst stone  is a lavender variety of quartz often used in jewelry. The name comes from the Ancient Greek and means “not”+”intoxicated”, a reference to the belief that the stone protected its owner from drunkenness; the ancient Greeks and Romans wore amethyst and made drinking vessels of it in the belief that it would prevent intoxication.

Amethyst is known to be February birth stone.
